On Linux - my Intel Graphics laptop just slams to a halt whenever I'm trying to do the following:- Participate in a Google Meet (with any number of participants)- Run a few docker images- Run a few browsers / electron appsI'm quickly growing tired of trying to make this 28W TDP i7-1165G7 work for me.I have a nagging suspicion (totally subjective) that the issue gets even worse when I dock my laptop and have it driving two 2560x1600 monitors.Any of you on Linux seeing something similar?

I'm mostly ready to throw in the towel on both 28W TDP CPUs as an effective work-station CPU, and also ready to drop the charade that Intel Graphics is up to the task of driving large displays and handling any sort of video decoding.I don't know what the state of AMD on Linux is right now, but I'm willing to bet money that a mid-range AMD graphics card would instantly make me more productive.

@funnylookinhatI believe that I've had the same issue, a while ago, but I can't remember the solution. However, I do remember that it was related to chrome's attempt to use hardware acceleration. Looking that up, was how I found the solution.I'm sorry I couldn't be more specific. Hope it helps.

@souldessin yeah am I just fighting with Chrome's support for hardware decoding on Linux? I should check and see how AMD and NVidia handle that.
