       It's about time to refresh the ol' #introduction, isn't it?Hello there! I'm Daphne⭐ (read: Daphne Star); a #trans woman, a #parent, and a #queer #leftist (a transbianarchist, if you will). Interests include #reading, especially works by transfem authors; the occasional bit of #videogames, especially indie and/or queer titles, and being trans. I post a lot about being trans. I post very occasionally about politics, but for the most part I steer clear of heavily political content. I keep abreast of current events, of course (did you read the part where I'm trans?), but I engage with that content elsewhere.I'm also a fledgling #writer! I'm the #author of Family of Me, a serial fiction where I try to make sense of my life through #reparenting my inner children. I post a new scene here every Monday and Friday! My earlier work (trans #fiction with #witches) can be found at https://daphnestar.itch.io (not quite as good in my opinion, but hey, it's free!).I suppose I'm also a #SoftwareEngineer. For 15+ years now various companies have seen fit to pay me for that (in money!), so I suppose I'm pretty good at it. I post about software engineering occasionally, but I'm usually more focused on the exploring the trans experience and/or writing. Follows are locked, but I tend to approve requests so long as the follower has a profile, a posting history, and doesn't feel icky (as determined by vibe check). So don't be shy!
