@jawshoeadan @siguza Is this the same personalized developer disk image that Siguza noted in https://mastodon.social/@siguza/109922466146143055?

@jawshoeadan @siguza Do you know if Xcode 14.x can still connect to an iOS 17 device? Before personalized DDIs, you could get an old Xcode to connect to new iOS by adding a DDI from a newer Xcode; not sure how you'd do that now

@zhuowei So it looks like that bit from @siguza holds up, same DDIs in the same spots. It also seems like ideviceimagemounter and idevicedebug are both broken as of now. Previously, just plugging into xcode then running idevicedebug would work, now it doesn't

@jawshoeadan Thanks. Wow, it won't work even after Xcode mounts the DDI? That's a bit of a dealbreaker for me and iOS 17 since I still need to deploy and debug off of Xcode 14.x for the foreseeable future.

@zhuowei I also specifically tested Xcode 14, and got this: https://github.com/libimobiledevice/libimobiledevice/issues/1452#issuecomment-1577790440

@jawshoeadan I think Xcode always fails when connecting to an iOS beta newer than the Xcode release. Before, though, you could manually copy the DDI from a newer Xcode (https://stackoverflow.com/a/31013217) and it'd work; I guess that's no longer possible now.
