COVID MEDICAL EXEMPTION HELPMy 14 year old daughter wants to go to summer camp with her friends this summer and they are requiring a covid vaccine. Has anyone here successfully gotten a medical exemption? The only reasons I can find online are allergies and a history of Guillane-Barre syndrome. Neither of these work for us. Our doctor is honest and won't sign off unless it's legit. Anyone have any ideas? I can't believe we are still dealing with this crap!

@Peaceandprosperity They never apologized. They never admitted they were wrong. They will continue to push the vaccine for no reason at all other than they've been told to. It's still like this everywhere. I continue to believe that severe consequences need to be given to the COVIDiots for justice sake . . . . but as far as legal options for you I don't know.Is there a POC you can talk to? Sometimes you get lucky and get to talk to a non-NPC who will ignore the requirement.

I successfully got my son a religious exemption. And in California no less. The vaccine is derived from aborted fetuses. Using that and the fact that it isn’t a traditional “vaccine” but is different in that it introduces a spike protein not found in you body, into your body were enough of an argument to get the exemption There are some go-bys on line. What kind of sick people run that camp? That's just child abuse in my opinion. Best to keep your kid away from all the spike proteins that will be shed.

I got the exemption in 2022. I thought they would deny it but surprisingly they didn’t. I think a key element is that it isn’t really a vaccine (where they give you a small amount of the sickness so your body can build immunity naturally). With COVID, they are injecting you with a spike not found naturally in your body. Plus the fact the “vax” is derived from fetuses.I started the letter by saying: “I am not anti-vax. My son is fully vaxed for all other illnesses but this is not a vax..etc”Anyway, those were the 2 main issues we argued and it worked

was that for a requirement for school or a non-academic related activity?I have flirted with the idea of straight up bribing a clinic worker as I don't want my kids to have any more. or arguing for a medical exemption on the basis of natural immunity.

@jonginsf its for a summer camp that is not school related. Our schools don't require it but for some reason, some of the overnight camps in WA do. There is zero chance of me getting her the jab, so I'm hoping for useful advice since I am not the only one who is going to be faced with this issue over the summer. @Dwalrus

@Peaceandprosperity well, sad, but if that is the camp requirement, there may be many other reasons you would rather find a camp that really alligns with your world view and people who Tommy disregard, science, wisdom, morality and common sense.Rough on your daughter at that age.Praying you make the best decision based on the information and understanding you have.

In the old days, where reason prevailed a little, having had chicken pox was good enough to have reasonable immunity to the virus and no one would question you about the vaccine. Back in the old days.If you have a doctor with sense, should be able to write a note saying, "Yes, child has amole immunity against COVID-19 and no additional vaccination necessary."

@watteva my wife got a medical exemption so she could help at the school district. The doctor didn't have to give a reason, they just have a form they sign. It's like a hall pass. I talked to my wife about it and she thinks our doctor will sign the form because she doesn't believe in the jab for kids

Thanks for this info. It's something I've faced the past few summers as well. I've tried to avoid camps that require anything like that and I was able to find a good one in Ohio. I appreciate not everyone can travel to other states. My son has already had to face effectively being shunned from restaurants, museums, etc in the city I was born and grew up in. I will NEVER forgive that city, their ridiculous mayor and the voters who voted for her. No 9 year old should have to fight a city of "adults". About the camps, if they require something and you go on an exemption you also need to prepare to be blamed as a disease spreading family. Unfortunately many people are too busy with their Netflix habits to have read that the product doesn't even stop spread. So here's crossing fingers that there are no outbreaks during these summer camps. Your child's 14 year old friends may be cool but who knows about their parents.
