       HBOMax app on Roku had pretty easy-to-use subtitles options. Max app on Roku has...nothing?(There are Roku-level controls, they aren't great and the trend lately has been for the app, not the OS, to provide this)

       @steveportigal I don't understand why they didn't keep the HBOMax app and just change the name and add more channels. Like, did they need to just get rid of some money? Employee a friend? I don't get why they did the new app. It's not better. And I can't imagine a technical constraint that would need a new app. It's SOOO WEIRD

       @austingovella @steveportigal husband and I were just talking about this. Like, getting people to download a new app, authenticate and onboard…some exec really had something to prove I guess!
