       @vriska YES. For food I am super picky (because autism) and some food is awesome just for the texture (or diversity thereof.) For music I have FLAC-encoded cassette rips just because I like the texture it adds. I kinda want to get into cassette for that reason, also because it's cheap.

       @vriska I mean people really like textures for some things (old tape video is something people emulate because they like how it looks.) As an autistic person who is around other autistic people I'd say no, I can't speak for normal people.

       @vriska I also love PILOT, people hate it though probably because they're listening to terrible versions of it on crappy earbuds. On good headphones the distortion makes it sound so lively. The soft synths on a harsh, crackling distortion is such a cool sound.
