Saw this today… coming out of WalMart, this guy was parked across the aisle from me. He loads his car up with his bags, pushes the cart into the spot next to his car, and proceeds to drive off. The cart return is LITERALLY TWO SPACES AWAY YOU LAZY PRICK!

@obihahn The way the world works nowadays, if you leave the cart in the proper spot you will be seen as too nice i.e. a fool, and you will be a target for predators. You don't argue with nature and wildlife, you just respect it and act accordingly.

@obihahn I always take a cart that's in the lot and return it to the building. Fuck anyone who thinks it's stupid of pusillanimous. Kindness is free and if the try to take advantage of me, my concealed carry and plate carrier says I'll fuck them up

@shepard @obihahn Yeah I grabbed one today was jammed next to a mini van in the Costco parking lot. There's just no excuse. I rolled in with it. I also thought about the last rant you went on about it too when I grabbed it. Something about it being a tool of judging society or something, the shopping cart. LOL

@KillerMule @shepard if you’re talking about the last time someone posted the ”shopping cart theory” I wouldn’t call it a rant. It’s just my opinion/preference. I don’t see the big deal about being courteous and returning the cart. But if you want to@make the argument that there aren’t enough stalls/corrals for carts and you have to walk across the lot to return it, I’ll listen to that. In this case, the corral was literally 15 ft away.

@KillerMule @shepard also in this case, I was parked across from this, and there was a slight slope toward my car. Had it been windy, or had the guy just pushed it out of his way, there’s a good chance it would have rolled right into my back bumper. Then I would have really bee pissed, believe me.

@obihahn @shepard It's an interesting premise. The only objection I have is having been a boxboy/bagger at a decent small country store, it was my job to take care of the carts. But yeah I get you for sure.

@KillerMule @shepard I did move that one to the corral. Some of my kids’ friends had jobs collecting carts, I try to help the people out who have to go out and collect them putting them into the corrals is the least I can do.
