       @didymus AFAIK, the German nuclear program was quite primitive compared to the American one, despite Heisenberg and the other German scientists' genius - they just didn't get the same resources allocated to them as the Americans allocated to the Manhattan project.

       @CatLord this conspiracy theory maintains that that is a cover story and the german nuclear weapons were, like the german nerve gas agents, the most advanced in the world, manufactured, and ready to deploy. the theory maintains that the v missile program was intended to be an icbm delivery system for small-to-medium nuclear warheads. unfortunately it may be a hundred years or never that the truth is revealed on this critically super-secret and controversial issue.
