It’s pretty sick and disgusting how some ‘parents’ go protest at a school against a Pride Month event with the slogan ‘Save our kids’ 🤮 It’s not about ‘turning your kids gay’ but about acceptance of everyone no matter who they are or how they feel!I have a feeling many of those ‘parents’ are armed to the teeth and have some nasty 1940’s thoughts… THEY are the ones poisoning the kids with their small minded propaganda

@stux And yet the places where these protesters come from tend to have lower test scores in math and English and higher numbers of unplanned children.The teachers barely have time to teach kids how to read, write, and do math! They certainly don't have time to turn kids gay!

@stux In addition to opposing the bigotry, I oppose the idea that kids need to be saved from any ideas. They should be eased into working and running the world as responsible individuals. They have to be able to see the world with its marvels and horrors. I just whole-heartedly reject everything about the so-called "conservative" world view.

@stux every one of those protesting parents has a child who hates them. They don’t have to be so evil. They don’t have to work so hard to hurt kids. I genuinely don’t understand why they are so filled with hate. I just hope that one day they recognize the pain they have caused by these anti-pride/LGBT campaigns and work hard to make amends with the community. To be a strong ally.
