@EU_Commission I put all my hope in you that we finally get a safety first law. I just cannot stand that speed and smooth traffic are priorisieren higher than safe cycling infrastructure in GermanyAnd I don‘t have that hope when it comes to our German government.All my hope is on the EU.Netherlands for everyone anywhere.

Not just cycling. All these EUCs, eKickScooters and eCyclists needs unified law across EU. I think it's time to screw performance and speed limits for these devices - if people would be able to travel fast, safe and cheap on things like that, they will leave cars for sure. E-devices are overregulated and 50 kg woman needs totally different motor performance than 100 kg dude (+ up to 15 kg backpack).Things I'm fine with is weight limit as it helps get e-choppers and other mopeds out of bicycle paths.

@EU_Commission @becha cycling is great. I love cycling myself, and prioritising cyclists over car drivers in the structure of our cities is essential if people are expected to embrace it more. That being said… 1/2

@EU_Commission @becha …if the EU really are serious about climate neutrality, they could do very much very quickly if they did their homework on air traffic and ships. Tax those fuels. Prohibit the vain luxuries of a rich handful that draw so heavily on our common climate budget. I cannot personally outcycle even one of their private jet flights in my whole lifetime, or one yacht cruise.
