So I've been wondering. Straight/cis people, do you know the significance of the colour combination yellow, white, purple, and black?💛🤍💜🖤No judgement if not. It's just a thing I was thinking about earlier today.

For those who don't know, these are the non-binary pride flag colours. They represent everyone who doesn't fit into the gender binary. The colours represent people who:💛 Yellow – exist outside the binary🤍 White – identify with multiple/all genders💜 Purple – identify as a mix of male and female🖤 Black – have no genderIt's quite inclusive. If you don't like to conform with the gender binary, you're welcome under this colourful umbrella.

Of course, some also have their own flag to fly. There are other flags and colours for people who are agender, genderfluid, and genderqueer for instance. But they're welcome under these colours too. Honestly, I like the overlaps. Also, you don't have to pick any one colour. Depending on my mood, I can feel like any combination of these.

Also, just FYI, the central stripe in the trans flag, whether white or black, represents non-binary people too.
