@kaia "Three in ten American girls will get pregnant before age 20"oof. that said i like to emphasize sex ed and consent education as an important factor. though im sometimes shocked how bad the sex ed of some friends was. in my experience and talks to other people sex ed was for some reason better at christian schools....mhh 2 am end of an party also makes sense. i usually leave between 2-6am depending on my tiredness etc... it is just nice to leave a full party and not because u have to leave because their closing. somehow i have some anti-fomo here

@grillchen@brotka.st idk about the rest of canada, but montreal latest a bar can stay open is until 3 am. they tend to open around noon or ~5 pm, depending on whether they serve food (which is usually done by 10-11 pm) etc

@xyhhx i see, still pretty early. (here there is no limit and most bars/clubs close between 4 and 10 am in my experience, there are even bars who are open nonstop. some even for barkeepers to hangout after work^^)

@grillchen @kaia I'm not sure if there is a correlation or not, but in the UK where there are also often curfews, we had the feeling on vacation that people drink much more "aggressive", because at 1:30 you have to be loaded at the latest.

@doppelgrau @kaia mhh my general impression is for most people educated and low alc consumption is possible and leads to less excess than overegulation. some people tend very much to alcoholism and for them hard rules are better to keep them away from drinking. also since most my friends are kinda nerdy/alternative many dont drink at all or just rarely. i myself drink rarely

@grillchen @kaia I think our bubbles are similar, but in general my observation was that the amount of totally drunk people was higher in UK/Scottland compared to similar locations in germany. But the sample size was not that large.
