@brimshae @Jim I don't quite remember how the dude pulled it off, this was 15 years or more ago. He was a medical grower, non-medical wasn't even legal yetWas pretty clever, rain can be a little dangerous when you're almost done growing dope. Buds are big and thick, retain water too well. Rain risks mold and rot, ruins the harvest. Northern Oregon heavy rains start when you've still got a month or more before the plants are done, so he made the quick-detach cover so he could get full sun when the weather was good and pull up the shield when it starts coming down. For all I know, it could've been as simple as tie downs and shower curtain style ringsI assume the whole thing was born from an over abundance of cannabis and Macgyver reruns
