       Just thinking about the Florida shit actually killing Pride celebrations there, andthis is the first Pride in I don't know how many years where it feels relevant again, instead of just an event to be hijacked by corporate interests? So that's gonna make next month interesting.(remember kids, the first Pride was a riot, and it probably should be again, and you've got 2 weeks to buy uh, Pride supplies)

       @glassbottommeg It's fucked all around.The local pride is almost all drag shows this year, with a few breaks for sponsor time.  But the actual queer shit is all drag, which feels like a deliberate response to all the anti drag bullshit going on.

       @anniethebruce @glassbottommeg Drag’s not my main thing, overall, but I’ll happily support a Pride that centers the Drag & Trans communities for the foreseeable future, sort of redirect the focus away from those of us less at immediate risk (and I understand, that can be really f-ing situational, & I’m not suggesting a hierarchy of importance, just immediacy). Mainly though, as far as Pride goes, we can all drop E & spank guys in leather chaps once we’re ALLA safe. 🏳️‍🌈👊
