       @0x4A6F Sorry for the nitpickery ‒ I heard really good things about Yescrypt, why is Nix recommending SHA512 instead?

       @xerz I don't think we recomend SHA-512 at this point. The default algorithm used is also yescryptCan you reference where you found that? @0x4A6F

       @hexa @0x4A6F I guess that’s my interpretation out of “We expect most users accounts to be set up with sha512crypt (hash prefixed with $6$) which we will continue to support“, sorry for misreading if that’s the intent
