       I've noticed over in the other place I'm regularly attacked by Russophobic propaganda accounts in distinct waves, making it obvious they work in shifts and take orders from a central authority.        @chiasm You're not one of these people who act incredulous that Russophobic bigotry is rampant, are you? Because in my experience the Venn diagram of "those who deny Russophobia is a thing" and "those who are Russophobes themselves" is a circle, and I don't tolerate such people on my timeline.

       @adamasnemesis There's phobias for everything.  What struck me about your post, in that context, was I was curious who was directing the transphobic waves and what they were attempting to achieve by it.  Particularly over on Twitter.

Only clues I have are:1) It's associated with "NAFO"2) Its rhetoric resembles what I see from the more Russophobic ex-Soviet countriesThe most obvious candidate would be some intelligence agency or another from one of the Western bloc countries, but that doesn't narrow it down much, and I don't like saying "oh, it's a CIA operation!" without any basis for such an assertion.All I do know for sure is that it all looks *fishy*.

       @chiasm Heck, it might even be a *Russian* intelligence operation, designed to make Russophobes and those on the NATO side look bad, though it seems unlikely; certainly they don't need any help from the Kremlin to discredit themselves.As for what they're trying to achieve, it would seem the objective is to normalize Russophobic bigotry to stoke the war effort. I'd think surely they can't believe this rhetoric is going to *persuade* anybody, but god knows.
