       Can someone explain the deal with Roman's stitches and the hug? It's apparent that Roman was triggered by seeing Gerri. He said, why is she here? and then that he didn't want to go into the board mtg. He kept looking at his reflection and saying/ asking if the stitches looked ok. This, while he was talking about looking like a pussy and saying, why wasn't it me? (to be CEO) So, was it a good thing or a bad thing in his mind for the stitches to look ok? And was it intentional on both of their parts that Kendall hugged him until the stitches popped? What was that all about?Just a few follow-up Qs that my sister and I have been discussing...#Succession #SuccessionFinale

       @tc_morekindness I don’t know what the hug was, need to rewatch. In the boardroom, Gerri was special to Roman - but now he realized that a bedraggled, defeated and marginalized Roman Roy no longer served her interests. Or those of the new Waystar/Royco/Gojo. He wanted out of that room, which he was in neither the physical or emotional shape to be in at all.

       @eyebrowsgerri I think that's quite right. As I reflect more on his relationship w Gerri, I think it was kind of love/hate -- hate (which might be too strong a term) b/c she knows the truth about his masochism. So when he got into a position of power, he tried to fire her. I think he wants to impress her, but he's also afraid of her and wants to push her away & get rid of her. Maybe his focus on his stitches was just his thinking out loud about how he might look to her and others. And his concern that he looks weak b/c he's not the CEO. I really don't get the hug, though.

       @tc_morekindness OK, i rewatched it. I don’t think the hug was Kendall trying to hurt Roman. I think it was Roman grinding his own head against Kendall’s shoulder trying to hurt himself.
