@shacker Hunting is one of those weird paradoxes where hunters end up being some of the strongest forces behind wildlife conversation. The American hunters were the ones that started the conversation movement there in the early 1900s. Hunting tourism is a big cash flow for many African preserves, without which they'd struggle for enough funding to keep the preserve going.It's a total bitch, you want to save the animals and sometimes the only way to do that is to let people shoot a few.:/

@NanoBookReview That's right, I've heard that before - that fees from safaris actually do a lot to support the preserves. It's a painful irony but I guess that's reality. Thanks for the reminder.
