       @TruthSandwich @TransitBiker @alfredo_liberal it’s typical of folks who are really young and idealistic, eventually they will outgrow this and either move to a more pragmatic liberal perspective, or they will be the permanent minority by voting third party. I used to be a far left socialist, but over time I put away Marx and read more Keynes.

       @fjwheeler @TransitBiker @alfredo_liberalSure, and we saw this in the fact that Bernie’s 2016 supporters largely aged out and were replaced by a fresh crop of clueless kids in 2020.By any measure, the far left is too politically weak to succeed in their stated mission of taking over the DNC. However, they’ve served to undermine us and thereby aid the fascists.

       @TruthSandwich @TransitBiker @alfredo_liberal 💯 and I regretfully did that in 2000 when I cast a ballot for Ralph Nader, one of the highest electoral mistakes I ever made. I think one of the biggest mistakes that the academics on the Far Left, as well as entertainers, committed was brainwashing an entire generation to view the Democratic and Republican Party as the same thing. I think Noam Chomsky, etc, own that nonsense.
