@fristi@akkos.fritu.re anbernic? somewhat lateral/offtopic, but depending on the model i suggest using amberelecand games? celeste works on mine (rg351p), n64 runs decently well, psx works nice, most mame/arcade works well (depending on core) and snes works well too

@christinya I have the rg353ps, unfortunately amberelec does not appear to have compatible images for that system (but I think they are working on them as they made an announcement about it). However I found the stock OS on this model is actually very good already, there's little point for me to use alternative firmware like jelos or arkos as they add nothing new and in fact have worse performance in some aspects.I'll check out celeste, should run on the 353ps as well (reviewers confirmed it working on the 353p at least)

@fristi@akkos.fritu.re Metal Gear but also Strikers 1945 and 1945 II. Loved those games and sure I have 1cc'd it at least once.

@fristi@akkos.fritu.re hmm, in terms of performance i haven't noticed big hitches on the 351p (tried jelos, arkos, amberelec and stock because i am bored), though if it works well enough for you, it's all that mattersi also just remembered that you can also play sm64 with a native port (has widescreen, 60fps patch, etc) but idk if it'll work on the rg353ps, i know it does on the 351p/v and 353p

@christinya if it works on the 351p, it should theoretically work very well on the 353p/ps, as those have slightly more beefed up specs. I'll look into it :)

@amoonrabbit yea this thing has a 4:3 display. Still, if mame supports screen rotation, I could give it a whirl. Otherwise I could look for the playstation port, that is bound to work well.
