@oshy Wasn't that whole presentation for enterprise level stuff?Like jacked up prices aside, I don't think they expected a significant portion of the customer base to be residential users.

@ocean @oshy @6a62 Are you kidding me?They do everything over the top and they overcharge for it.I have the "joy" of professionally repairing Apple products.They pay us for warranty work, but there's an endless stream of tools we have to buy from Apple to do that work. It's insane how many, different screws they put in just one laptop and goes many, different drivers and bits we have to buy from Apple, among many other things.

No shot they're buying a thousand dollar piece of plastic that holds your monitor a little high unless they're either rich or have the backing of a company.Also yeah I have no doubt IT hates Apple.

@Paradox @oshy ...technically it's solid aluminum, but I defy anyone to take one to a recycler and get anything close to $1,000 for it.It's one, big piece of shaped aluminum and a crappy, proprietary mount.All to hold up a 32", 5k monitor that's not even close to being worth $5,000-$6,000.And don't get me started on the "nano glass!"An extra $1,000 for glass you can't clean unless you use approved, Apple cleaners. Otherwise, you ruin the display.
