I know it’s cliche but I “read” Lolita for the first time this spring (audiobook) and it’s such a stunningly written and beautifully sad novel. Dolly and Humbert before ruin.

@snout in its original form it has far deeper significance, with complex literary fugues spread throughout. Nabokov at his best. A must read for those interested in pedophilia. 😉

@snout When i read Lolita I cried so much! Dolores' ending was so unfair, and for Humbert to die without paying for that specific crime is so heartbreaking :(
