       If you make something insanely hot you’re supposed to add Szechuan peppercorn somehow to add a different kind of heat that eventually just numbs your mouth, but also adds flavor. That’s how it works in China anyway.Just had some hot pot as typically made in Szechuan along with additional chili oil with a little sesame paste for dipping after cooking in chili oils and spices that make up a hot pot base.

       @mushroom_soup I went to hot chicken place once and got the second spiciest flavor, and after almost dying from that I've seemed to survive every other spicy food pretty well.
