@charlie_root @dcc There were spam accounts across many instances for @thegx, kind of like the porn spam accounts that have showed up on Mastodon. This website seems to be a scam website, and Aral has reported that website as well as its accounts. I'm surprised you saw no harm (despite them acting innocent, others won't see so) and invited them to our instance. That's why I reported it.

They are a lot of homosexuals, mentally ill, and terminally online weirdos that are hyper-sensitive and narcissistic. They are obsessed with blocking and creating walled gardens and echo chambers.Here on the dark fedi (or the based fedi as dcc calls it), people are still crazy but the community here has thicker skin and people will have debates dialog here without blocking. This side of the fedi is more pleroma centered and does have a lot of right wingers saying gamer words, but freedom of speech and expression is held in high regard here. Also a lot of the admins and mods here don't treat their users like children and they work together to solve problems, like the recent security hole found in pleroma.
