@Radical_EgoCom I don't see it happening, unfortunately. If it were to happen, it'd probably be a populist-conservative/nationalistic movement to do it. I don't see a sufficiently aligned left and even if a left-ish movement would arise, it'd be very difficult to gain the support of the military due to conflicting interests before being gunned down by them. France's protest culture is beautiful to watch though. I hope I'm totally wrong in my conclusion.

@Radical_EgoCom Nazis have been planning for instability in lots of democratic countries for decades and some of them are well funded and even supported by branches of several secret services. The left being anti gun (not saying that I'm pro gun) doesn't help the situation in terms of power balances while the right is known to have international networks and arms depots. Doesn't end well, I worry.

@dictvm I don't think it's possible for the working class to win a physical fight against the government, at least not without getting the support of at least most of the military and police. I think the only realistic possible way to have a successful revolution against the government is through some sort of mass general strike, where workers all over the country just stop working, except instead of striking for better working conditions, it'll be a strike to weaken the power of the government in order to more easily abolish it. Of course, this'll require the action of millions of workers to participate at around the same time, which is why I believe doing things like creating and engaging in unions, organizing strikes, and uniting workers under a common goal and ideology is important in order to prepare the working class for the final revolutionary strike against the state.

@Radical_EgoCom Systems of mutual aid, cooperation, solidarity, peaceful refusal to work/comply, etc are the way forward, for sure. A physical fight would, if anything, give them exactly what they want. It would give tptb a reason to respond with all the violence we KNOW they're fond of ...all while saying "the socialists forces our hand!" Yeah, no. We win by not playing on this one. That's my take.

@IntentionallyBLANK @Radical_EgoCom solidarity is the key, in my view. The oligarchs have a huge class solidarity between themselves, internationally. Look for instance how the journalists in every country (paid by oligarchs) treat musk even as he spits on them continuously. This solidarity makes them stronger than their money, don't you think?
