@JessiCum I pirate as well, without a VPN because nobody really cares in this shithole. The ISPs have taken some really dumb and useless measures to stop piracy, but there are simple workarounds that people with basic knowledge on networking stuff can overcome easily.Also I have found out that one website that's supposed to scare you with what you're downloading is total bullshit. Because it never found out what I have downloaded, unless for a torrent file that I opened once to see its contents and never actually downloaded anything from that torrent. @iro_miya I actually use VPN mostly not to hide my IP, but rather to keep my IP address the same, as I can use that a lot for some services.

@iro_miya Thing is, I trust my ISP more than I trust VPNs. Maybe if I ran my own, I could consider it, but tbh, I don't feel it would be worth it.

@iro_miya I use dns over tls or https. I don't use a VPN directly but I indeed have a service running which connects to a VPN.So I could access the VPN if I deem it necessary
