@Neigh-Sayer Is this Higurashi? I couldn't really get into it. Gore doesn't really spook me as much as ghosts do.I thought Another was good until the mystery was gone.Junji Ito and Theatre of Darkness are pretty good.

In my opinion, the first 4 chapters are better than the last 4 chapters for the exact same reason you mention: The building up of the mystery and the weird happenings is good, but a little unsatisfying when it is finally explained.There's also Corpse Party which is on my backlog, but I've only heard positive things about it.

@Shadowbroker2135 Animation itself isn't well suited to it. I think most people have too much of a disconnect from drawings.Compare the Iria Zeiram live action stuff to the anime. It is all the same basic elements, but when I saw the anime I thought Zeiram was cool and when I saw the live action power rangers stuff I realized he was suppose to be creepy as fuck.

The missionaries did their duty in spreading the Word of God and the death of Jesus. The Japanese people studied rigorously took very careful notes when learning about the Crucifixion........ and spent the next few years or decades crucifying their enemies.

@Shadowbroker2135 Well, what you tossed out as a half joke *is* something that a lot of reviewers talk about, and I've seen a ''yuri'' tag tossed at it on a couple of sites.Either way, Toriko is my spirit animal, and I plan to have an NPC with Kozakura's background and mannerisms (but not appearance) if I ever run a side campaign for my group.
