No mini map and no way to know where to go the maps are pretty big with a lot of the same colors so things don't stand out... Spent 30 mins after I killed everything on lvl 3 or 4 just looking for the door...

Same problems for me at first ~ my monitor is fairly wide and at the moment sits rather close to me so I had better spatial awareness after I turned down the bloom and pixels in the retro settings.

@burner @Jim I played it. It's great! Never played a first person metroidvania before, but it sure is one and somehow they made it work. It's always great to get a new ability. The art is cool and the plot was interesting. Also, I think it's literally a Doom WAD that opens through a special launcher.
