@thatbrickster Haha. Right now, I would probably say all of them too. The climate just isn't right so they can't do them properly or with justice, because they value and prioritise something else right now. Namely quotas and modernity for some dumb reason.

The last three have a rogue AI creating cyborgs and trying to wipe humanity with a deadly virus, cars being launched into space and ramming satellites, secret organisations slowly taking over the world, dudes tossing torpedoes at nuclear subs with BARE HANDS.Imagine if James Bond didn’t become boring with Craig but instead went full in and turned in a magnificent batshit insane yet fully self-serious spectacle. No tongue-in-cheek humour, no irony.

@newt Honestly, James Bond should have covered the books and then let it die. We can look back on the films with great fondness then. I think our ideas of awesome are different because I'm bored of seeing great spectacles, it does seem like every film has to be about saving the entire world or universe now. But that might just be superhero films fatigue at this point.

@natsock I think that I would love to see Harry Potter done properly and not whatever the films were. But actually a series that followed the books down to the details. But I have my doubts that anyone can do this justice in the industry right now.
