Anyone got a #recommendation for a shaving cream that doesn't require a brush and doesn't come with any plastic?I liked the Gillette Planet Kind shaving cream well enough but they are discontinuing it.I loved the Supply Ultra Lather Shaving Cream but it requires a brush and they've switched to plastic containers since I last purchased any.Help!#plasticfree #fedirecs #recs #fedihelp

@aj Ethique have some really good products. They do appear pricey, but they last and provide good value. This one is a 2-in-1 but I suppose you could just use it for the shaving side. 🙂 https://ethique.co.uk/products/tip-to-toe-shampoo-shaving-bar

@nickycolman@mastodon.world I love Ethique! I currently use their Gingersnap Solid Face Scrub and I've tried their So Cocoa Nourishing Lip Balm. For shaving, I really like Triumph & Disaster's Old Fashioned Shaving Cream tube. The cap is still plastic but the tube is metal. Proraso's tubes are good, too, but also with plastic caps. I wish both companies would switch to a metal cap like the one on PopGel's toothpaste tubes.

@aj oh that’s good! I’ve used their solid moisturiser. It was ok, but very pricey vs how long it lasted. I really wish governments would legislate against plastic for anything other than medical usage to force companies into making beautiful, sustainable products.
