@idea_enjoyer The biggest revelation I had from this is that there is still a Lutheran hierarchy. I thought it went the way of Baptist and other mystery meat non descript churches.

@mkultra I think the wedge is transing kids. When you get the pastors to say things like "God accepts trans people," and the normal person in the pew is absolutely disgusted by all the trans crap, that's a great way to peel away the credibility of pastors and make them look like absolute stooges.Plus your average guy in the pew knows more than pastors about how teachers and librarians push things like drag queen story hour and puberty blockers to kids. So when the pastor starts preaching the usual bullshit about love and acceptance, anyone worth saving in the pews is going to start looking elsewhere.And the way to start all this is to soft-pick a fight with the pastor, to make him think you aren't loving and that the situation needs to be addressed ... And the next thing you know, the pastor is outing himself as a squish on transing kids
