       @wordaholic @Radical_EgoCom The institution of "The Police" has become irrecoverably corrupted to the point where Police openly threaten and attack any members of the public that want accountability and to prevent full-blown brownshirt Fascism.It has been argued for CENTURIES that the function of "The Police" is to protect "private property" (read: massive excess wealth) and the political order that condones it.By now, every "officer rescues kitten from tree" and "officers rescue girl from well" story can be overmatched by TWENTY "extrajudicial killing" stories.The institution of "The Police" must be DISSOLVED, to be replaced with UNARMED 'peace officers', all of whom have Master's degrees, preferably in social services / mental health.A healthy society doesn't employ jack-booted thugs to maintain ANY damned thing.
