       In my experience, physics is the STEM field most likely to have just absolutely raging jackhats. I think the field is like >90% jackhats. Splainers who think they’re above everyone, dismissive of everyone else and everything else. “I can comprehend complex math and therefore you plebs and your interests/thoughts are less than the dust on my boots” vibe.Well, today I decided I finally had enough data to make a conclusion: philosophy is the physics of the humanities.I said what I said.

       @cricketcrocker my dad was a physicist (mostly armchair) with a ton of bad takes and was also a terrible philosopher so I agree 💯 with this. Maybe “political science” is second to philosophy?
