Users who block people for calling a tranny a tranny and a fag a fag are not worth my time and are better off blocking this account. I’m tired of dealing with imbecilic shitheads who even block niggers for calling themselves that. I am not a hateful person, but I also am not willing to police my choice of words to make retards feel better. I have grown quite incredibly fond of the fedi-block-api’s choice of software license, as it does well at its job of deterring stupid people from filing issues to complain about [insert missing feature here].

@moyi @sa_exe The reason the left opposes slurs except when used by members of the identity group related is that they hold that only members of that identity group can reclaim them; but that presupposes that people in that identity group always out themselves online. Anyonymization is a more potent weapon against oppression than slur reclamation by far. And besides: If slurs online are normalized, they lose the power the hateful people who created them imbued them with. That is a good thing.
