       @TonyStark  Their goal is entirely outcome-based; seize power and use it to impose their authoritarian will on the majority. Until they are permanently banished from politics by voters -- and have their policies totally repealed by a newly elected majoritarian government -- they are viewing themselves as successful... and it is a reasonable view.

       @TonyStark     This article makes an important point that every one of the female Senators, despite political affiliation, voted against this ban.   "Women are 51% of the South Carolina population [but hold] only 14% of the General Assembly and even less than that in the Senate."Not only do we need to vote Republicans out, we need to vote women IN.  More women need to run for office and we need to support them.

       @Sharonbw The vast majority of voters in South Carolina are against total bans, which is what this is. It’s a total ban that punishes women and risks their lives. It also punishes doctors who try to help, further risking women’s lives.
