I wish publishers who are removing shows from streaming (for tax purposes?) would just put them on YouTube or Internet archive or something. Like a bunch of people made a thing and then it’s just fine forever? Make it make sense!

@gretared Pure speculation based on nothing: Some shows don't affect subscriber retention so they have little value on the premier streaming sites. Nobody dumps Peacock because it stops carrying old episodes of Punky Brewster, but somebody might watch it on a lower tier ad-supported service (like Pluto) where it faces less competition. So they pull it and sell it down market.
