       @bylcameron the kicker is even the Latin civil right organization joined spewing the same crap. I don't think the people making the decisions have ever been to Florida. I can tell you the only Latin discrimination here is latins to Latins from a different country.

       @SAUNDERS @bylcameron I left Florida in 2003, and I'd say it's more integrated than Brooklyn, but anyone with curiosity will find parts of FL are still backwards. You have old black neighborhoods that are "no go zones" for white people. Invisible lines of intimidation, the border areas are more or less friendly but dangerous, some of it is drug related, like real crack whores on the edges of town. Stick to the main roads and you won't see that much. A couple of blocks back and it gets worse.

       @SAUNDERS @bylcameron Granted, this was a long time ago, but I doubt things have totally changed. Miami is another story--last time I was there, crime was bad, lots of bank robberies, certain businesses were very rude and will pretend they don't understand English. If I ever went back, I'd research where I was going in advance, you don't want to wander around and stumble into some shit. "Not all who wander are lost..." was my thing, but I'm lucky to be alive LOL.
