       @zuzuruz @StillIRise1963 I'm in Colorado's 7th district, and the people I know from the 3rd almost universally despise her. Her district is the taint of the state, but I think even those hill people are ready to oust her.

       @eljorgeabides @slcw @zuzuruz @StillIRise1963 Geographically it’s almost half the state, but some of the counties have fewer than 1000 people total. No idea how many registered voters that comes to. They tend to be extremely conservative, which generally translates to not wanting their taxes used to benefit “those” people (nudge nudge, wink wink) in the big cities. Dog whistles work well out there. She did come within a couple hundred votes of losing last time. There’s hope for 2024.

Old white guy Rep retired just before the ‘20 election, Dems didn’t bother to run anybody, cuz why bother? Ted Cruz (who else, right? sordid backstory there, too) encouraged Bobo to run, she won, unopposed.

       As a CO3 voter, that's not quite true. She ran against a candidate who was more qualified, but not as active. Boebert came to my town of 700 for a "rally", whereas her opponent did not. It was also the peak Trump time, so the MAGA crowd were channeling money to her campaign, whereas the Dems wrote off any competition. Last election the same thing happened but despite a +18% (R) prediction for our district, she won by a few hundred votes. Now that CO3 is competitive it should flip next time; not only is she unpopular, there will be a better financed campaign against her, and the demographics are shifting here as some of the small ranching/mining towns become outdoor recreation havens.

He's got a massive campaign fund, and he has already begun to campaign against her. He's a really good guy, and the people of the 3rd district would be so much better off with him. He actually cares about the constituents, and wants to do things to improve the district instead of whatever Boebert is doing.
