@Cousin_Isobel I am not surprised. Pretty sure Target is seen as the upscale Walmart by white suburban moms who are ashamed of appearing in Walmart (it’s definitely a class thing). Speaking as a white, suburban mom who knows tons of other moms exactly like this. @polarisera Depending on the age cutoff for a child, I would not be surprised if there were no choice but to vote for a candidate like that in the general election.Everyone I knew was very pro-Biden, especially in comparison to Trump, so the Biden victory did not surprise me. Where is the evidence that the election was fraudulent? The recounts seemed to confirm the original result, and Bill Barr said the Justice Department could find nothing consequential. I don’t deny the possibility of a deeper fraud, but I’ve seen nothing but allegations of an incorrect name on a voter roll here and there.

@polarisera I don’t know; I didn’t follow the “Move On” type organizations that closely in 2020. There was The Lincoln Project, though. I was dumb enough to think they might be offering some sort of interesting, new thing, but they seemed to mostly exist to remove Republicans from office. I started to understand when I saw that it wasn’t just Trump; they campaigned against Susan Collins, who is supposed to be a moderate.It kind of felt like the “fathers” of the 2020 election were just bringing down Trump rather than promoting any particular alternative. The message seemed to be that anyone else would do, and the DNC neatly put Biden into lead by arranging for him to have Klobuchar and Buttigieg voters in the primary. Otherwise, BLM, Antifa, and the media just seemed to create a “Trump has to go” sort of atmosphere.
