       QUEER COMMUNITYI want to develop software for young children that "tells a story" with them as a character and therefore, I need to know the correct pronouns to use.I'm aware that there are a lot of variations in pronouns! Do you think it would be to offense if I just gave three (illustrated) characters:* They love to play sports.* She likes to collect bugs and insects.* He wants to be a chef.I don't want to freak out parents, but I also want to be inclusive.        Honestly, I'm less clear about people who prefer "she/them", for example. Would it be offensive to pick between "she/her" and "they/them"? I'm sorry for being naive, but I'm just not sure.
