       @hakui i expected christians to make the judgement "it's not a mere self-help book!" but for some others for it to count as such, that was the point, but also to encompass all the modern books that aren't explicitly tagged as such but provide some sort of condensed life-advice

Remember, people's misery is your profit.2. Focus on the first ten pages, aiming to provide enough in the first 5 minutes for your audience to hold a discussion about. Use simple language but offer unorthodox solutions that leave an impact. Go on a podcast circuitSince your audience consists of those largely down on their luck, it should be easy for you to land the initial sales by getting interviewed by a opiate addict with few hundred listeners. You should repeat this until sales become self-sustaining and when they start to drop.4. Write another bookWhen you are getting into it, it's easy to read the market wrong. Don't be afraid to try again focusing on a slightly different target group, with a different podcast circuit.
