       I agree that social media and the internet as a whole can be a bad place for children and adolescents. But, I'm not in favor of the government imposing limits.        @seth what happens when parents are years or decades behind the tech proficiency of their kids, though? Or when companies with biiiig marketing budgets run endless campaigns about how "family friendly" their services are, with only a tiny * to indicate that this may not be entirely true?I think a more practical question about any notion of effective limits on child/adolescent social media access is how to get there from here, since we've had over a decade of no applied restrictions.
