       @Jim As a person who has worked in injection molding and packaging manufacturing I can tell you its very very low. Even for "premium" boxes its like 25 cents per at most.

       @Jim Usually it's the licensing and shipping that are the real costs, everything else is about bulk manufacturing.A really smart business model would essentially be selling a full premium bundle without the game, but not make it lootcrate shit (manchild kids meal toys). Get preorders of a series people love that you can easily source the rights holders, find the price for a limited run of variable media from them, and basically make it a shrine to purchase for the 500+ hardcore fans of that old game:Silk posterFigurineHardshell boxArt bookCommentary book (if the original devs are alive)SoundtrackAnd gimmick itemHell the original reason lootcrate (the sort of model lrg loosely based itself off of) did so well was because they basically had a shit version of the items each month, that didn't sell well individually but had something for everyone... Until every company stopped selling their bargain bin shit they couldn't offload for cost, and then tried to do their own, which ultimately killed the business (like movie streaming platforms unable to have shitty films from the 80s because production companies want to hardball Netflix/Hulu/paramount...)Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.Basically lgr started as a small fish in an empty pond, and their model is now becoming unsustainable because they proved it's a business model that can work, and now companies like NIS are directly competing, and old license holders can play hardball for some of this stuff. Also, shipping is the most pain in the ass hidden cost ever. Dimensional weight can fuck your profit more than one would believe.
