@stux *disclaimer: some federated fedihosts have been known to shut down at short notice with fediusers scrambling to move their database lines across to new and hopefully more stable hosts and databases. Some of those fediusers may not have made the deadline and indeed lost their precious images, if they had any.

@stux @TheVoyageur A month ago, I actually “minted” a sports #NFT, the “#MLB Rookie Ball of the Year 2023”. It was available for free, probably as a marketing stunt since you had to register an account. First #Baseball “memorabilia” for me, and a fun learning experience. Seems there are actually many opportunities to get free #NFTs if you just want to try it out, enjoy collecting free things, or are loss averse.
