@stux There’s a level on which I’ve got to admire the skill it must take to stack a load of logs with that big a hollow in the middle (& for it not to collapse while being transported on a flatbed truck).But yeah, that’s a scam. & the older, bigger guy is giving off a serious vibe of “strong arm robbery is well within my skill set, as I’d be happy to demonstrate right now.”

@stux you think it's a scam because you've never purchased a truck of wood for your fireplace probably 😄 wood is not paid on numbers of loads but on weight. this doesn't mean that a dishonest seller can't scam you anyway, they have different techniques for that.
