       Corporations are expanding the push for tipping from consumers as an excuse to delay or prevent having to themselves pay their employees a living wage.Change my mind.

       @Onlineadviser @QasimRashid I wouldn't call you an enabler.I too have decided I need to be far more generous in tipping now that I've moved to a "tipped minimum wage" state (in unison, BOO!!!! HISS!!!!). I’m attempting to respond to immediate needs of workers who I presume to be living paycheck to paycheck.Yeah, I know. In a way, you're right. It is "enabling." But what are these folks going to do between now and that distant if ever receding date when we get a living wage?

       @Onlineadviser @QasimRashid Tipping is a system invented to avoid paying black people for their labor and to enable customers to exploit and abuse employees.The class of employees most in favor of it are wait staff at expensive restaurants. Usually white and conventionally attractive.Employers bear the responsibility of paying their employees.Period.
