       all the baristas at my local starbucks are wearing these hideous pride flag pins with the trans and BLM stripes on them. I find it utterly bizarre that a coffeeshop would need or want or allow their employees to wear things like that. How about a huge crucix pin that says JESUS SAVES. Or maybe one that reads FUCK ISREAL. How about an I HATE WHITE PEOPLE badge. Perhaps I HEART FRACKING. Would any of those be acceptable?I'm a bisexual chick married to a lady. We had a talk in the car how gay rights was "can I go into Starbucks and not be spit on/beaten up if I attend with my partner"? Also, can we be married so we can own a house, file taxes, and see the other person if they lay dying in a hospital. That's it. I don't want or need all the Starbucks employees to wear this weird policitized flag pin on their shirts. I can't stand it.

       @Morbidemoness Seeing how persecution of same sex reationship is rooted in capitalism and patriarchy my idea of acceptance is exiling all men from the positions of power. But I get what you mean. I don't want other people to celebrate me and signal their support, I want to go about my life without constant background concern for my wellbeing. It's just empty non-activism, a show to distract from the fact that at this point LGBT is a full fledged corporate brand that sells the promise of an easy escape from sexism to women and new ways to get off to men.

       @Morbidemoness I hate the whole culture of flags, of Trump flags and pride flags and progress flags and people getting mad at each other for waving the wrong flag.  I ordered a flag of the Shocked Pikachu Face meme,  dubbed it the FAFO flag, and fly it whenever someone in the news fucked around and found out.
