New blog post. Trying to compare terms "map", "yap", and "myap". https://wierstamann.net/2023/05/20/map-yap-myap-pros-and-cons/

@comrade_lecter "['Minor'] may create a wrong image of mapness as an attraction to legal inferiority and therefore vulnerability of younger people."Makes me wonder if there actually are MAPs whose attraction is mainly to the legal inferiority and vulnerability. (I can feel some of it, but only in a fictional context.)

@shoulderdemon if that's the leading part of the attraction, instead of age, they would most likely also find attractive other legally dependant people (women from countries with severe inequality, immigrant workers, etc). I think they are under the map umbrella, technically, because their attraction range does include young people - but that most likely would change in case of successful youth liberation.

@comrade_lecter @shoulderdemon A lot of my attraction has to do with my need to be a caretaker. And who is the ultimate person who needs to be cared for? A child. But it's not that I think they're inferior. Maybe I'm attracted to the vulnerability, but not like in an exploitative manner. Just as a caretaker. I wanna protect them.

@comrade_lecter @shoulderdemon I think the closest here would be legally incompetent disabled people. I’ve been thinking a lot about it (unrelated to myap discourse) recently.
