       @Shira Some instances do. It's just a feature that costs a fair amount of money, so NNIA disabled it early on, and Freak U disabled it a couple weeks ago.

       @Iris @Shira it costs money due to the way mastodon is implemented, fyi. pleroma (and misskey) has a functional albeit somewhat unreliable full text search available by default.
