       Must be nice being born into a simply codified body and mind that matches social conventions on gender. For everyone else your anti trans crap is just crap. You may be missing some neural empathy pathway connections. Might need to see a doctor about that

       @SilversnapplesI know there are kids who say they're in the wrong body as soon as they can talk, but there are other kids who come to it much later. For the latter group, I worry that the problem is our social conventions on gender pushing them to think they should do something about their body.

       @wjmaggos my kid is 27 and been fighting with their identity for a very long time. In the end it's about allowing personal autonomy. It's their choice and why should anyone else take that away. Because they're worried about their own impact... It's tricky but it's about them.

       @SilversnapplesAnd I'm not trying to take anything away. I'm arguing that for the latter group, we approach the issue as more of an individual fight that maybe they can find a supportive group to help them with, instead of seeing social norms as needing changing. I think we do this with race too. It's an identity approach that's acceptable to corporate America instead of one that is more challenging of their power. DEI instead of Fred Hampton. how do you advertise without stereotypes etc?

       @Silversnapplesmaybe it's an American thing, but we're both Gen X I think. I feel like when there was a disconnect, we'd say the problem is with the system. now kids think the problem is with them. I just kinda hate that.
